Your Six Veteran Services Edward Poorman Lancaster PA

Edward Poorman

Edward serves as the President of the Board for Your Six Veteran Services (Your Six). He Established Your Six because he saw the need for a substance free, safe environment for Lancaster County's Veteran community to congregate, recover and re-establish themselves as productive members of society.

Edward Served 8 years in the United States Marine Corps. He was honorably discharged as a Sergeant of Marines. He participated in the Iraq War Campaign as an Air Chief, supervising a forward operating base. 

Edward holds degrees in Architecture from Stevens and Temple University. Currently, he works as a Building Code Official (BCO). He has been a BCO for 12 years. He is President and CEO of Associated Building Inspections


Don Frymyer

Don Frymyer was born in Ephrata, Pennsylvania. He received a BS in Biology, Psychology, and Electrical Engineering. He was a naval aviator in the USMC from 1977 to 1984. He is a veteran of Beirut and achieved the rank of Captain.  

He finished his educational career by receiving a MS in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology. As an engineer he worked for various companies like Scientific Atlanta, Pirelli, Lucent Technologies, and Agility developing electro-optic transmitters and fiber amplifiers. He went on to found other companies in the areas of bio-medical instrumentation, biodynamic farming, and internet business services. 


Edgar W. Patton III (Eddie)

Upon graduating from high school in 1991 he enlisted in the Marine Corps. There he served as a rifleman in the infantry and as a security guard with Marine Corps security forces. Eddie had his own renovation and remodeling company before going to work for Community Action Partnership where he is program director for CAPitol workforce. Eddie is very active with his church New Holland church of the Nazarene where he has served as both a board member and Sunday school teacher.
